How do extra categories work on Nexaro Launch?
Your listing gets one free category. Additional categories are a paid add-on that you can purchase at submission or later.

Free and paid category placement
Every listing appears in one main category at no cost. If you want your product discoverable in more categories, you can purchase additional slots.
Adding extra categories
You can add up to 3 more categories beyond your main one. Each extra category costs $5.
Buy them either:
- When you submit your listing (on the plan step)
- After launch, from /account/listings under Categories
How placement works
Once you've paid and selected your extra categories, your listing appears in each one immediately. Placement is set by community votes—never by payment. Votes determine ranking within each category.
Visitors browsing any of your chosen categories will see your listing ordered by its vote count there, with no advantage from having paid for the slot.

- You pay $5 for the option to add up to 3 categories total. You choose which ones after purchase.
- When do my listings show in the new categories?
- Straight away, once payment clears and you've selected which categories to appear in.
- Does paying for extra categories improve my ranking?
- No. Ranking in every category is set by community votes. Payment gives you placement options only.
